About Us

Kristi is Founder & CEO of Jersey Staffing Solutions, LLC, a boutique Recruiting, RPO, and HR consulting services firm. After starting her first successful company in 2010, she went on to receive notable, and impressive accolades and awards, including recently winning Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneur in NJ in 2020, being featured in the March 25th, 2013 issue of Forbes Magazine as a Women Business Leader in NJ as well as being nominated by NJBiz as a 40 under 40 Winner in September of 2013. In May of 2014, Kristi also received the Maroon and Gold Alumni Award from her Alma Mater, Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. 

Under Kristi’s leadership, Jersey Staffing has consistently been voted as one of the top 25 staffing firms in NJ. 

Kristi Telschow is a true entrepreneur at heart. In 2014 Kristi went on to co-found Morris Technology Partners with Lou D’Angeli and subsequently received a joint award with her partner for Best Management Team and Innovator of the Year, 2018 by NJ Tech Council.  

Kristi hasn’t stopped there.  In the past, she served as President and VP of Marketing of SHRM for Morris County, sat on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Staffing Alliance, and continues to act as an Advisor to the Dress for Success of Northern NJ - 10 counties Board.  

Kristi is a professional connector and lives the motto of leaving people, places and things better than she found them.  What better way to do that and make an impact, than with the mission of the Kaleidoscope Project.

Karen is the H.R. Director for a large service company in Whippany, NJ where she conducts and welcomes the recruiting efforts with her warm personality and oversees company benefits. 

Karen appreciates learning new things and growing as a person each and every day. She aims to make a difference wherever she can and is committed to educating herself in the latest trends so she can consistently improve the employee experience. 

Before joining her current company, Karen owned a Belgian chocolate shop which catered to vegan chocolate lovers around the country. She resides in Parsippany where she has been a committee woman for the past 20 years. Family-oriented, she loves and cherishes time with her husband and 2 kids. 

A recent graduate from the University of Hartford with a Masters degree in Organizational and Industrial Psychology, and is looking forward to continuing with a doctoral program.

For every rise and shine, she looks forward to warm weather and contemplates a time where she could live on a beach.  She takes joy in boating and happens to have a 50-ton Master Captains license.

During her free time, she immerses herself into music. She revels in connecting with the keys of her piano and vocalizing her favorite tunes.

Lia Schork is the Vice President of Human Resources at The PromptCare Companies. Her responsibilities include oversight of talent management, employee benefits and compensation, compliance, risk-management and training and development. 

Lia has over 25 years of human resources experience having held various positions that include: Talent Management Recruitment for the Bayonne Medical Center, Psychometric Testing Analyst and Trainer for the Professional Testing Corporation and Human Resources Generalist for Phillips Technologies.    

Lia is a graduate of the University of Hartford with a B.A. in Psychology specializing in industrial/organizational psychology. She is currently a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), SHRM of Morris County and the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF).  

In her free time, Lia enjoys cooking, hiking, practicing yoga daily and spending time with her family and friends.   

Being an active member of Kaleidoscope has given Lia the opportunity to grow personally and professionally alongside other members. Lia enjoys connecting with others in a supportive environment where members share advice, guidance, best practices, successes, challenges and overall support for the enrichment of all. Kaleidoscope is key part of her journey of continued growth.   

With over 5 years of professional HR experience, Valerie is currently the People Partner at Soho & Co. for the Dumbo House in Brooklyn, NYC.  

As an experienced business operations administrator, her strengths include managing and maintaining relationships.  Her passion is focused on retaining and developing talent to ensure the sustainability of organizations.  She places a strong emphasis on DEI in and out of the workplace.  She prides herself on continuously working towards reaching the best version of herself by exploring and embracing the unknown. 

Valerie graduated from the Rutgers Business School with a Bachelor of Science in Leadership & Management. 

Her goal is to leave an impact on society by inspiring others to do what inspires them.  

Christine Scott, Human Resources Director, for an Emergency Services Franchise and General Contracting Company is responsible for the overall strategic design for talent acquisition, company culture, and employee relations. 

Christine started her career working for Continental Airlines as a Human Resources Generalist supporting the Inflight department. After the merger of Continental and United Airlines Christine was chosen to help spearhead a training program focused on a change management initiative to align the very different Flight Attendant work group cultures. After several successful years in the training department, she transitioned to the role of a Flight Attendant, a position that provided more time with her daughter and fulfilled her passion to travel.

Christine currently holds a board seat with the Society for Human Resource Management – Morris County Chapter (SHRM). In 2014 she created and implemented a chapter Ambassador Program which was very successful and has been adopted by several other local chapters. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management as well as a Professional in Human Resources PHR and SHRM-CP certification. 

As one of the Founders of the Kaleidoscope Project, this endeavor in particular, spoke to Christine as her professional journey has been full of challenges. The opportunity to come together to learn about other women’s journeys though their lens is truly an honor. 

Nicole’s day job is the Senior Director of Marketing and Sales at Keystone Cosmetics and Sciences. She has been in love with the beauty industry for as long as she can remember. Nicole finds the continuous change in trend, fashion, culture and lifestyle exciting and inspiring, which sparks a passion to push out innovative, fun products that will make an impact.  

After college, she started her career in the manufacturing sector of the beauty industry and 20 years later, she hasn’t looked back. Nicole has extensive knowledge and insight into the dynamics of the cosmetics business and the ability to envision how a product will be perceived by the customer. She loves being on the inside, interpreting trends and concepts and turning ideas into products that will eventually end up in the market under a big brand name. 

Being a working mother has its challenges, especially with Nicole’s type A personality – she needs to do it all! But she is beyond fortunate to have the daily support of her husband and two kids. In her free time, she loves watching her kids play sports, dining out, reading, and traveling.
